Meetings of the Board of Supervisors shall convene in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Madera County Government Center, 200 West 4th Street, Madera, California.  The Board of Supervisors meets simultaneously as the Board of Supervisors, the Board of Directors of all Dependent Special Districts governed by the Board, the Board of Directors of County Groundwater Sustainability Agencies, the County Public Financing Authority, the Flood Control and Water Conservation Agency, and the Governing Body of each and every other public entity for which the Board of Supervisors serves as the Governing Body.

Consideration of entering into an Amendment to Mcc No. 11141A-19 with Mark43, Inc. amending the renewal terms to March 31, 2022 to June 30, 2023 with annual renewal thereafter beginning July 1st to June 30th and amending compensation to $136,800.00 based on the current number of sworn deputies and authorize the Chairman to sign.

Consideration to adopt a Resolution authorizing Madera County Sheriff’s Office to contract with the State for Tobacco Law Enforcement Grant and authorizing acceptance of future increased funding.

Reorganization of the Department of County Administration.

 

  1. Introduction of an Ordinance amending Chapter 2.24 of Title 2 pertaining to the Department of County Administration to include the assistant department head classification of Assistant County Administrative Officer and corresponding duties of the classification; Waive the First Reading and set the Second Reading for January 10, 2023.

 

  1. Discussion and consideration to set the salary for Assistant County Administrative Officer at Range 401 of the Unrepresented Salary Chart (UB2 2020) $10,548.48 - $12,821.75 per month ($126,581.78 - $153,860.95 annually) as recommended by the Civil Service Commission.

 

  1. Discussion and consideration to adopt a Resolution amending Salary and Fringe Benefits Schedules Resolution to include the salary and fringe benefits associated with the classification of Assistant County Administrative Officer.

 

  1. Discussion and consideration to amend the County Administration Office organization chart.
