Consideration of entering into an Amendment to MCC No. 11984A-22 with BPR Consulting Group for compensation and cost to add an additional $400,000.00 totaling $1,000,000.00 annually to provide on-call outside plan processing and building inspection services for the existing term beginning September 7, 2021 for 5 years or unless sooner terminated and authorize the Chairman to sign.

22-1297:  COUNTY ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT/GENERAL SERVICES DIVISION

Consideration to adopt a Resolution expressing the County’s desire to purchase from California Department of Transportation excess parcels 047-101-012 and 047-101-013.

22-1309:  COUNTY ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT/GENERAL SERVICES DIVISION

Consideration of approval of Receipt of Unanticipated Revenue No. 22-092 in the amount of $20,824.00 derived from a Central Garage/Fleet ISF – Misc Reimbursement & Refund to MTCE-Buildings & Improvements for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.  4 Votes Required

22-1311:  PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Consideration of entering into an Amendment to MCC No. 11295-18 with Merced County Public Health Department for utilization review for both counties to maintain Outpatient Rehabilitation Certification extending the term date to June 30, 2027 and authorize the Chairman to sign.

22-1308:  PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING SERVICES DIVISION

Consideration of entering into an Agreement with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Clean CA funding for hosting community dump day events and authorize the Chairman to sign.

22-1313:  PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING SERVICES DIVISION

Integrated Regional Water Management.

 

  1. Consideration to adopt a Resolution authorizing County officials to execute documents related to Round 2 funding under the Integrated Regional Water Management Implementation grant pursuant to the Water Quality, Supply and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014 (Water Code Sections 79700, Et Seq.).

 

  1. Consideration to authorize Chief of Development Services or his designee to submit proposal application documents.

Expansion of Jail Parking Lot Fence.

 

  1. Consideration of approval of Receipt of Unanticipated Revenue No. 22-037 in the amount of $36,300.00 derived from County Local Revenue Fund AB118- Booking Fees to Operating Transfer Out – General Fund for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.  4 Votes Required

Community Hospital Closure.

 

  1. Discussion and direction to staff on reallocating American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to an earmark for mitigating the negative impacts of the closure of Madera Community Hospital.

 

  1. Discussion and direction to staff on alternative structures for delivery of hospital healthcare services to the community.

22-1312:  HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

Unclassified Service Plan.

 

  1. Discussion and consideration to add the extra help classification of Emergency Services Technician to the Unclassified Service.

 

  1. Discussion and consideration to adopt the class specification for the Emergency Services Technician.

 

  1. Discussion and consideration to set the salary for the Emergency Services Technician classification at $21.00 per hour.

 

  1. Discussion and consideration to adopt a Resolution amending salary and fringe benefit schedules to add Emergency Services Extra-Help classification to the Unclassified Service salary Schedule.

Second Reading to adopt an Ordinance amending Chapter 2.24 of Title 2 pertaining to the Department of County Administration to include the assistant department head classification of Assistant County Administrative Officer and corresponding duties of the classification.

22-1300:  BOARD OF DIRECTORS GROUNDWATER SUSTAINABILITY AGENCY/WATER & NATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

Discussion for the Madera, Chowchilla, and Delta-Mendota Subbasins establishing the imposition of higher penalties on those who extract groundwater in excess of an allocation.
